Blake Lively responded to Justin Baldoni’s alleged lawsuit. The director and actor are demanding approximately 41 billion rubles for slander against him.
Lively’s team released a statement just hours after the case became official. “The latest lawsuit filed by Justin Baldoni, Wayfarer Studios, and their partners is further evidence of the exploiter’s tactics. It’s an old story: A woman brings evidence of sexual assault and the rapist tries to use it against the victim, lawyers told Deadline.
Recall in the new lawsuit, Justin claims that the confrontation between him and Blake Lively began in May 2023. He claims that from the early days of working on It Ends With Us, the actress followed a “capture strategy” to maintain creative control. The actor also filed a lawsuit against Ryan Reynolds and Blake’s friend Taylor Swift for their contributions to the writing of the script. He says the actress rewrote a key scene where the main characters meet on the film’s rooftop.
