Mia Goth, Zach Galifianakis and Dan Stevens will star in the revenge comedy HEY BEAR

Portlandia co-creator Jonathan Krisel is making his feature film debut Hey Beara bold revenge comedy that will star My Gothic (Frankenstein), Zach Galifianakis (The Hangover trilogy) e Dan Stevens (I’m your man). The screenplay is written by the Emmy winner Carrie Kemper (Beef), and the story is presented as a “reason” story boasting offbeat comedy, about a woman seeking revenge on the bear that ate her husband.

In the film, Goth plays Claire, who “has always led a life based solely on the expectations of others. Married to Gregory (Dan Stevens), she fulfills her desire to spend her life studying bears in Glacier National Park, even if it means months away from him at a time. During one of her visits, a grizzly bear, nicknamed Mr. Cranky by Gregory, mauls her to death. After park rangers tell her that Mr. Cranky had been euthanized, Claire discovers that The bear has simply been transported to another national park and is living her best life. The usually mild-mannered Claire decides to take revenge on the bear. She teams up with socially awkward park ranger Putt (Galifianakis) to assassinate Mr. Cranky, but Putt has his own dark motives for joining her. of self-discovery. Set in a breathtaking natural setting, this “coming of rage” story is a “darkly comic roller coaster ride, full of originality and surprise,” reads the synopsis.
