After the Internet began actively speculating about the reasons for the federal visit, bureau representatives reported that they were now making such visits to many homeowners in Pacific Palisades.
“Members of the FBI Ground Interdiction Task Force are conducting operations in the Palisades Fire area in response to unauthorized drone activity. Therefore, agents and our local partners can be seen throughout the area, including various residential buildings,” the FBI press service told Page 6.
The source said FBI agents were at Affleck’s home to check for surveillance footage of a private drone damaging one of the firefighting planes.
