Some interesting concept art created for Sony has emerged Kraven the Hunterand reveals that at one point a Venom connection was planned that was ultimately cut from the film.
In the image we see Venom lying in some kind of wasteland. The art was created by Jules Darriulatwho wrote on Instagram:
“Here’s an environmental shot taken for a deleted sequence from Kraven the Hunter. It was a lot of fun working on this sequence with the Framestore art department team!”
Having seen Kraven the HunterI’m not sure where a scene like this would have fit into the story. Perhaps it came from an early version of the film that had a completely different script.
Regardless of what the plan was, I don’t think it would have helped the movie. Kraven the Hunter is one of the worst films of 2024 and currently has a score of 17% on Rotten Tomatoes.
