The director of “The Squid Game” admitted that he was bored with his project and wanted to take a break from work. He talked about this in an interview with Variety.
“I’m so tired, so exhausted. Honestly, I’m bored of The Squid Game. I’m not thinking about the next project right now. “The only thing I can think of is going to a remote island — not the island in Squid Game, of course — and enjoying the silence without calls from the producers,” he said.
Meanwhile, filming of seasons one and two has continued almost uninterrupted, with production on subsequent episodes set to begin in 2025.
We told you before that the action-packed thriller will have three seasons in total. The last episode of the series will be published in 2025.
Let’s remember that the first season was released in 2021 and instantly gathered millions of fans around the world. The story even inspired director David Fincher to remake it.
