The ex-wife of NHL star Evander Kane has publicly stated that she was one of the first to accuse Sean “Diddy” Combs of sexual assault. Anna Kane became the fourth woman to accuse the rapper of violence at his New York recording studio when she was a teenager.
Kane first filed a lawsuit against Combs in December 2023 but identified herself only as Jane Doe (a name used when a person’s real name is unknown or intentionally concealed). Note ed.). On Friday, he was ordered to amend the lawsuit to include his name, according to TMZ.
“I was hoping to use a pseudonym to do justice to what happened to me when I was young. The defendants’ asking me to use my name was an attempt to scare me, but I’m not afraid. I am ready to take action and hold accountable those who harmed me,” Kane said in a statement to Page Six.
The music mogul has been behind bars since being indicted on federal sexual assault charges in September. Diddy had previously been denied bail by two different judges who expressed concerns about his influence on witnesses.
