Kim Kardashian’s bid to impose a permanent ban on stalker who entered her home fails as court adjourns hearing
According to In Touch Weekly, a hearing regarding Kim’s petition for a restraining order against a 30-year-old man named Melvin Jeffrey Conley was supposed to take place today, but it didn’t happen.
Kim, 43, filed the petition in August. She and her family were later granted temporary protection from the intrusive attentions of men. Making it permanent required a series of formalities. Specifically, Melvin would have to read the complaint. But Kim’s lawyers said they still had not been able to find the man or serve him with the paperwork. So the judge postponed the hearing until September to give Kim time to sort things out with Melvin.
Melvin Jeffrey Conley, who forced Kim to seek protection, also went after actress Emma Roberts. The American Horror Story star said the stalker broke into her home and then called her on her personal landline. Conley allegedly told Emma he wanted to contact Kim Kardashian and her children. Roberts called the police but was unable to catch the villain.
Let’s recall that last year, police arrested an annoying fan of the star, Victor Ziegler. Kim filed a restraining order against him. According to Kardashian, he repeatedly tried to enter her house, claimed to be her wife and even sent her a diamond ring.
