Kim Kardashian has revealed that her son has a rare skin disease that he inherited from his grandmother.
Kim did not specify which children were specifically affected by the issue. The 43-year-old reality star has four children: North, 11, Saint, 8, Chicago, 6, and Psalm, 5.
“It was passed down from my mother to me, and I passed it down to my son, who has very mild vitiligo,” the Kardashian star explained on Monday’s episode of the She MD podcast.
Kim Kardashian and her mother Kris Jenner suffer from psoriasis. Kim is the only one of Kris’s six children to inherit the condition. Psoriasis and vitiligo are different diseases but share the same genetic predisposition.
