Surfer curls are the trendiest summer hairstyle. They are achieved naturally in the sea thanks to the salt water. But they can also be repeated in the city. All you need to do is have a salt spray on hand and a few hours of your time to “catch” the waves. Below, we share the three easiest ways to get surfer curls at home.
Method number 1. Braids

Without waiting for your hair to dry completely, divide it into several sections and braid it. The more braids, the smaller the waves. So don’t get carried away with braids if you want bigger curls. And if they are smaller, you don’t have to deny yourself anything. Wait a few hours (at least two) before unraveling your braids. Finally, apply a texturizer or salt spray to your curls to set the results.
Method number 2. Curly girl method

This method is suitable if your hair is at least a little curly. You need to start styling your hair while washing it. Apply conditioner to the strands using squeezing movements, then rinse. Squeeze your hair a little with a towel and apply a leave-in product (cream or spray) to your hair. Then apply gel, mousse or salt spray to damp hair with the same squeezing movements. We are done styling, all that remains is to wait for the strands to dry on their own or dry them with a hair dryer with a diffuser.
Method number 3. Hair bundles

Apply mousse to damp hair and divide into thin strands. Twist each one into a tight strand, wrap it in a bun and secure it to your head with a hair clip or hairpin. Do the same for each strand and leave your hair for a few hours (at least two). After drying, untangle the strands and fix the resulting curls with salt spray.
