Scientists have created whole fruit chocolate that replaces sugar with powdered fruit peel and jelly made from concentrated cocoa pulp juice. The jelly served as a sweetener. The experiment showed that consumers noticed almost no difference and for them the product was as sweet as regular chocolate.
