Anne Hathaway, dazzling in a GAP dress: sign of a return of hype for the brand?

Anne Hathaway recently wore a white shirt dress with timeless elegance, easy to wear and match. And for once she doesn’t come from an overpriced brand, but from GAP. Designer Zac Posen just became creative director. What is the harbinger of beautiful models at low prices?

But elongated and structured with gathers at the waist, half-open over a corset and leaving one shoulder uncovered. The collar has been deconstructed to resemble the cuffs.

On Instagram, Anne Hathaway’s stylist Erin Walsh explained the inspiration behind the immaculate look: ” We wanted to capture a modern version of Roman Holiday [film réalisé par William Wyler, sorti en 1953, avec Audrey Hepburn dans le rôle d’une princesse]. »

And there’s nothing like a white shirt dress as a backdrop to the sparkle of Bulgari jewels, of which Anne Hathaway is an ambassador. The actress wore an oversized diamond choker with a sapphire pendant and a fully pave snake bracelet. But also diamond spiral earrings. All signed Bulgari, obviously. To complete the immaculate look, the heroine of Princess despite she (whose number 3 would be in preparation) wore white pumps by Christian Louboutin.

Let’s hope that the marketed version is actually closer to the model worn by Anne Hathaway, at an accessible price and in a wide range of sizes. Otherwise it’s the kind of shirt dress you can easily find in stores, or better yet second hand!
