Matt Napolitano, a longtime reporter and host for the Fox Audio Network, died of an infection on Dec. 23, his husband said on social media. He was 33.

Whitcomb noted another X/Twitter post that his husband, to whom he had been married for only seven months, “had an autoimmune disease with which he was diagnosed almost twenty years ago and died as a result of an infection”.

Napolitano joined Fox News Radio as sports anchor for its SiriusXM channel Fox News Headlines 24/7 – a station that has included coverage of the Super Bowl, World Series, Daytona 500 and more. He also loved Neil Cavuto’s Fox Business Network show. According to his LinkedIn profile, he was a two-time winner of the Associated Press Journalism Award for Best Overall Newscast.
