Bryan broke his silence on December 26, 2023, confirming the split. “It is with mixed emotions that I share this personal update regarding my amicable separation from Mariah Carey after seven extraordinary years together,” he began. “Our decision to take different paths is mutual, and as we travel these separate journeys, we do so with deep respect and a tremendous sense of gratitude for the priceless time we have shared. The memories we created and the artistic collaborations will be etched in my heart forever.”

She went on to praise her ex’s many positive qualities. “Mariah’s dedication to her family and commitment to her craft have inspired us throughout our shared journey. “I want to express my love and appreciation for Mariah and her incredible children, whose warmth and kindness have enriched my life in ways words cannot express.”

Mariah and Bryan were last seen together in March 2023, when he posted a birthday message to Mariah on Instagram.

It wasn’t the first time the former couple broke up. They briefly split in 2017, according to multiple outlets, but apparently rekindled their romance a month later after they were spotted kissing in Los Angeles.

When did Mariah and Bryan meet?

The former dynamic duo met in 2006 during Mariah’s concert. The adventures of Mimi tour when Bryan worked as one of Mariah’s backup dancers. He later became its creative director.
