Whether they last 6 months, 1 year or more… Fashion and beauty trends last for a limited time. And since we’re slowly but surely coming to the end of the year, here’s a little list of trends that will be forgotten on January 1st.
Long nails
Long nails have dominated trends for several seasons now. At the same time, they are very practical if you are passionate about nail art and are used to opting for very elaborate looks. But this autumn-winter, More and more short nails have established themselves on our Instagram and TikTok feeds. They certainly offer a little less space for fun, but their clean and chic appearance makes them more desirable than ever. At this point a question arises spontaneously: are you ready to take the big step?

The box wobbles
The short bob, also called Box bob, has been spotted on the heads of (almost) all fashionistas in recent months. Unfortunately, with the arrival of 2024 it will no longer be so trendy and will be replaced by a bob that is wavier and, above all, less difficult to style: the choppy bob. More layered and less rigid, the latter offers more volume and more movement to the hair compared to the box bob which is not necessarily intended for all hair types (especially the finest).

Gua Sha
Gua sha is a jade or quartz stone that is used on the face to activate blood microcirculation and carry out lymphatic drainage. If this method still finds followers, its real effects on the skin have not been scientifically proven. That’s why we’re gradually seeing this trend fade away. benefiting photostimulation devices such as LED masks. The latter send light (whose wavelengths are more or less deep) and can address several skin problems. From wrinkles to acne to psoriasis… Many problems can be solved by these devices. A much more interesting investment than buying a Gua Sha stone…

Grunge
The grunge trend has dominated the year 2023. Black eyes, dark red lips, messy mascara… Avril Lavigne style makeup has never been so exploited. But his reign was short-lived and this rock-inspired look was gradually replaced by more refined beauty treatments the analysis company Mintel.
