According to Deadline, Andrew Garfield finally put all the rumors aside and announced whether he will return to the role of Spider-Man in the new movie “Avengers: Judgment Day”.

When asked directly about his participation in the film, Andrew Garfield answered categorically: “No, absolutely not.” However, the actor’s statement did not convince fans of the superhero series. He had also previously confidently refused to star in Spider-Man: No Way Home but eventually returned to the role alongside Tom Holland and Tobey Maguire.
Let us remind you that the movie “The Amazing Spider-Man” starring Andrew Garfield was released in June 2012. The film caused heated controversy, grossing $757 million worldwide. The premiere of the second part of the series, titled “The Amazing Spider-Man: High Voltage”, took place in April 2014. Despite its box office success, the film was not well received by the public, so the third part of the series was never released.

Meanwhile, Andrew Garfield previously admitted that he wouldn’t mind returning to a big superhero or similar franchise in the future: “If it suits my spirit and brings pleasure. Maybe one day I’ll have five kids and I’ll have to start saving for their education or something like that.”
However, Andrew Garfield and Yura Borisov are now starring in Luca Guadagnino’s comedy-drama “Artificial.” We wrote more about this here.
