British private broadcaster ITV has tapped a familiar face to host an edition of its flagship daily programme. This morning – with Sarah Ferguson sitting on the bench on Monday.
The sun reports that the former Duchess of York is hosting the popular show for a day and editing the show from the gallery.
Ferguson, who has previously appeared as a guest on the show, told the paper: “I’m looking forward to being there all morning and I’m excited to be guest editor of the show, which means I have a series of can cover topics I investigate.” ‘I do. with passion.”
The show’s program includes an interview with veteran singer Sir Cliff Richard, how to get a dog on board, skin protection and the importance of defibrillators.
ITV has changed guest presenters since star presenter Holly Willoughby quit last month. She was recovering from the news that she was the subject of a death threat, as well as the high-profile departure of her longtime co-host Phillip Schofield over the summer.
Ferguson is no stranger to the television studio: After her divorce from Prince Andrew in the 1990s, he met with Oprah Winfrey for wide-ranging interviews and appeared on her own YouTube channel, where she tells children’s stories.
The sun reports that she has been recruited for this year’s season of the reality show I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! But the talks stalled when she refused to talk about her ex-husband, with whom she still lives.
