Ingredients to prepare the oatmeal biscuits recipe
- 130g semi-salted butter
- 120 g of sugar
- 1 egg
- 100 g of flour
- 150 g of oat flour
- 1 teaspoon of yeast
- 2 tablespoons vanilla flavoring (or 2 sachets of vanilla sugar)
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 200 g of milk chocolate chips
The recipe step by step
Step no. 1: Preheat the oven to 170°C fan assisted or 180°C for the traditional oven.
Step no. 2: Work the soft butter with the sugar, then incorporate the egg, until you obtain a smooth consistency.
Step no. 3: Add the flour, oat flakes, baking powder, vanilla, cinnamon and chocolate chips to the mixture.
Step no. 4: Form balls of the same size and place them on your baking tray, keeping them away from each other (to prevent the biscuits from touching each other during cooking).
Step no. 5: Cook for 10-15 minutes.
Step no. 6: When the biscuits come out of the oven you can add a touch of fleur de sel before eating them.
