“When you walk through the door of this hospital, you will do what you have to do to feel alive”: Fanny talks about her daily life during chemo

What does daily life look like for a young woman during chemo? This is what Fanny says in this third episode of the second season of “My body, this weight”. Where, between the phobic fear of vomiting and tiredness, Fanny discovers a true passion for sport.

In the previous episode of My body, this weight season 2, Fanny thought back to the beginning of her cancer treatment. She talked about it several times his panic fear of chemotherapy… Because he saw his father suffer one, and because he fears above all one of the side effects: nausea and vomiting. How to deal with this treatment when you have it phobia of vomiting ?

It recounts the small measures taken by the medical staff and the strategies implemented to limit side effects… including sport. “A Revelation”she says, which helps maintain self-esteem at a time when his body is becoming thinner and weaker.

How can we do good in such a terrible time? For Fanny, these are simple, obvious things: the love of loved onesthe presence of his animals and above all nature, a source of comfort that gives him strength.

Fanny tells all this without taboos in the third episode Daily treatment.
