The (easy) apple crumble recipe, for a sweet autumn

Autumn is slowly arriving and with it so are its recipes. This time we offer you apple crumble, which smells like back to school!

Visualize the scene: it’s raining, it’s starting to get cold, the orange leaves of the trees are falling to the ground, and you’re wrapped in a soft blanket on the couch with a hot chocolate or steaming tea. What are you missing to make the perfect image? A collapse, of course! How good, we have the recipe for you, and it’s very simple, as usual.

The simple crumble recipe

To prepare this snack you will need:

  • 150 g of flour
  • 75 g of butter
  • 100 g of sugar
  • Cinnamon (optional)
  • 3 apples (or 3 pears, depending on taste)

Start by doing preheat the oven to 180°C. Peel the apples (or pears) and cut them into cubes. Then, in a salad bowl, mix the flour and sugar (and a teaspoon of cinnamon if you like) then add the butter into small pieces. Mix everything together with your fingers until you obtain a very sandy paste. Finally, butter a moldand place the apples on the bottom. Add the dough on top and, soon, in the oven for 25 minutes.
