Kevin Spacey will soon appear in court via video link as a date for the UK trial

A date has been set for Britain’s high-profile sex crime trial of Kevin Spacey.

The american beauty The star’s trial will begin on June 28, it was announced today at Southwark Crown Court, where the trial will last around four weeks.

According to Reuters, Spacey appeared via video link from an undisclosed location, where the 63-year-old spoke only to confirm his name and hear proceedings during a roughly 15-minute hearing. He was granted unconditional bail ahead of the trial.

Spacey previously pleaded not guilty to 12 charges related to alleged crimes against four men that allegedly took place between 2001 and 2013. He appeared at London’s Old Bailey last year and denied five counts of charges relating to three men before appearing at Southwark Crown Court to plead not guilty to additional charges relating to another applicant.

He previously made a comeback and was set to star in an upcoming film 1242: Gate to the West but was replaced when additional charges were brought against him.

Last October, a jury in Anthony Rapp’s high-profile $40 million sexual misconduct lawsuit found Spacey not liable for damages.
