Sky introduces the life of meta creator Mark Zuckerberg

EXCLUSIVE: The events in the life of Mark Zuckerberg and the founding of Facebook/Meta are recorded in a Sky documentary on an eight-page sheet.

Zuckerberg: King of the Metaverse [working title] will merge the events of the billionaire’s life for 90 minutes with the creation of his earth-shaking website. The function of My daughter’s killer Indie Rogan Productions and director Nick Green combine rare archival footage and exclusive interviews with people close to Zuckerberg.

Facebook, now meta, is approaching its 20th anniversary and the BBC has a similar series, simply titled pile of sugar, about six months ago by Louis Theroux’s Mindhouse Productions.

The doc has been commissioned for the Sky Documentaries channel and sits alongside a slew of shows revealed in a substantial Deadline fact sheet this morning.

This includes Daley [working title] from Oscar-winner Passion Pictures, featuring the definitive account of one of Britain’s greatest Olympians, Daley Thompson, a decathlete who had a difficult upbringing and whose career was fraught with controversy.

Dublin Narcos is a sequel to the BAFTA winner Liverpool Narcos and shows how the Irish capital’s criminal underworld changed in the 1980s and 1990s, as criminals began selling hard drugs as the city transformed from a recession-stricken hamlet to one of the richest in Europe.

live in Ireland Away: Ireland’s Vanishing Triangle will tell the story of how six young women in the Wicklow Mountains area went missing without knowing their whereabouts 25 years later.

Meantime, Whale with Steve Backshall see a return for it shark Presenter as he travels across the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian Oceans to see the world’s most popular yet endangered whales and dolphins.

Elsewhere, pushed out [working title] will tell how gay men and women were dishonorably discharged from the British Army until 2000, The great rhinoceros robbery [working title] explains why the rhino is in danger of extinction and shows the race to find and catch those responsible Who killed Lin and Megan Russell? follows the tragic story of how the couple were brutally murdered in broad daylight and their convicted killer, Michael Stone, still maintains his innocence 25 years later. The latest show has been given exclusive access to Stone’s legal team as they prepare a final appeal which coincides with an allegation by Levi Bellfield, one of Britain’s most notorious serial killers, that he carried out the murders.

Poppy Dixon, Sky director of documentary and factual commissioning, said the book contained “a rich variety of stories, characters and tones”.
