EXCLUSIVE: Ana de Armas’ spin-off led by John Wick ballerina continues to expand his company The living dead Star Norman Reedus aboard the feature film directed by Len Wiseman.
Reedus joins the already cast: Anjelica Huston, Ian McShane, Lance Reddick, Oscar nominee Catalina Sandino Moreno and Keanu Reeves will also reportedly make cameo appearances.
The film, written by Shay Hatten, is currently in production. Producers are Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee and Chad Stahelski. Brady Fujikawa and Chelsea Kujawa are overseeing the project for Lionsgate.
Lee told Deadline, “We’re huge fans of Norman and we’re confident that fans are as excited as we are for him to join the Wick universe. He’ll be an incredible addition ballerina.”
Reedus is known for his role as Daryl Dixon in 174 episodes of The living dead. He is also the director of the spin-off of the AMC show in France.
Reedus will star in the Jeff Nichols-directed film The cyclists for New Regency, with Austin Butler, Jodie Comer, Tom Hardy and Michael Shannon. Actor’s feature film credits include American Gangster, The Conspirator, Triple 9, The Boondock Saints and starring Ed Helms Holiday. Reedus is repped by CAA, Brillstein Entertainment Partners and Jackoway Austen Tyerman.
Through three films that John Wick Franchise grossed over $586 million. John Wick: Chapter 4 hits theaters on March 24, 2023.
