It has already been announced Harrison Ford will take on the role of General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and who will appear in the Lightning movie.
Now we have learned that Ford will also show up Captain America: New World Order. He will act alongside Anthony Mackie, Shira Haas, Tim Blake NelsonAnd Carlo Lumbly.
General Ross is a high-ranking military officer, first introduced in Marvel comics in 1962, who comes to lead the anti-hero squad known as the Thunderbolts. William wounded he previously played the character and debuted in 2008 The Incredible Hulk. He has appeared multiple times in the MCU, including in 2021 Black Widowbefore his death in March.
Giulio Onah will direct the film from a screenplay written by Dalan Musson And Malcolm Spellmanfor which they both wrote The hawk and the winter soldier. Spellman will produce with Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige.
We have no details on the story to share, but Captain America: New World Order will be released in theaters on May 3, 2024.
