With the same attention to real life tone as the first. , Ralphie reconnects with childhood friends, reconciles the disappearance of his Old Man and sows the seeds for the origins of the beloved holiday classic. “
The sequel 40 years later also includes the return of the original A Christmas story including cast members Peter Billingsly like Ralphie, Ian Petrella as Ralphie’s younger brother Randy; RD Robb as the daring triple Schwartz; Scott Schwartz like Flick from the Frozen Tongue; And Zack Ward like the yellow-eyed bully Scut Farkus.
Clay Kayti (The Christmas Chronicles) directs from a script of Nick Schenk (Gran Torino, The Mule). I am very excited about this film and it will be incredibly beautiful and interesting to reach these wonderful characters after all these years.
