There is a new documentary coming to Amazon Prime Video titled The sound of 007and this feature film will explore the history of James Bond music.
There are six decades of James Bond music to discuss, from the genesis of Dr. No and the iconic 007 code all the way There is no time to die. The film will mix candid interviews with James Bond’s incredible archival material.
Composer Giovanni Barri he once said, “It’s not the melody, it’s an attitude … That has become Bond’s style.” The sound of 007 “traces the incredible history of music, engaging true stories behind the melodies and famous faces that have recorded some of cinema’s most beloved soundtracks.”
The sound of 007 is directed by Mat Whitecross (The doctrine of shock, Move to Mars, Oasis: Supersonic, Coldplay: A head full of dreams). Amazon presents this Bond document on Prime Video starting October 5, 2022.
