Trailer for Showtime’s Vampire Series DO INTO THE RIGHT

Showtime has released the first trailer for its upcoming vampire series Get the right one in, which is based on the Swedish novel and film of the same name. Judging by the trailer, they’re looking to expand on the story. Judging by the trailer, this series feels bigger and less intimate than the source material.

The series is the protagonist Demián Bichir like a father who will do anything to protect his vampire daughter. The series centers on “Mark (Bichir) and his daughter Eleanor (Madison Taylor Baez) whose lives were forever changed 10 years ago when she was turned into a vampire. Locked up at the age of 12, perhaps forever, Eleanor lives a closed life, only able to go out at night, while her father does the best of her to provide her with the human blood she needs to survive. She is looking for a cure so that she can return to normal.

What the synopsis doesn’t tell you is that a virus is spreading that is turning people into vampires and there are government officials on the case trying to figure out what’s going on. There are more vampires out there in this series that cause havoc. So, there is a lot more going on than the intimate story of a father trying to protect his vampire daughter.

I liked the original film adaptation of Get the right one inand I also thought about Director Matt Reeves’ the remake was good. But I’m not sure I like the direction this series is going. Yes, they are trying to do something different with the story, but the whole vampire virus thing has already been explored in several films and in that fantastic series. The stump.

I will give this show a thought and hope it exceeds my expectations. The series is produced by Andrew Hinderaker (Come on, Penny Terrible), which will also act as a showrunner. He also wrote the pilot, directed by Seith Mann.

Get the right one in will be released on Showtime on October 7th. Watch the trailer and tell us what you think.
