Another day another action thriller that Franco Grillo is meant to act. This guy must be one of the busiest actors working in Hollywood and he jumped aboard a movie project called Black Lotus. The film also stars the eleven-time kickboxing world champion Rico Verhoevenand the film is currently in production in the Netherlands.
Verhoeven plays a special forces officer named Matteo Donner. “After his best friend died on a joint mission, he wandered around the world struggling with guilt. Back in Amsterdam he ends up in a personal war on the streets and canals of the city. Between explosions, flying bullets and crashing cars, Donner has only one goal: to save the kidnapped daughter of his dead friend.
There are currently no details on who will play Grillo. The film will also star Marie Dompnier (Black box), Peter Franzen (Vikings), Rona-Lee Shim’on (Fauda), Magnus Samuelsson (The last reign), Simone Wan (Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald), Kevin Janssens (Vendetta) And Roland Møller (Atomic blonde).
The film is directed by Viking mission director Todor Chapkanov from a screenplay written by Tad Daggerhart.
