Here is a new poster for Rob Zombiethe upcoming film adaptation of the classic 1960s TV series The Munsters. It seems like a lot of people are excited about this movie and I really hope it ends up being a good one. Judging from everything I’ve seen so far, it looks like it’s going to be a fun movie.
The film follows a family of benign monsters who move from Transylvania to the American suburbs. The cast includes Jeff Daniel Phillips like Herman Munster, Sheri Moon Zombie like Lily Munster, e Dan Roe as grandfather Munster, along with Doctor who And Hobbit actor Sylvester McCoywho plays Igor, “the faithful servant of the family”, Dee Wallaceactress Elvira Cassandra Peterson as a real estate agent, Tomas Boykin as Lily Munster’s werewolf brother Lester and Uncle Gilbert are also in the film.
Speaking earlier on the style and tone of the film, Zombie said, “I made the colors somehow hyperreal. I noticed that when the actors were wearing makeup and were just walking around, having lunch or whatever, it seemed like cartoon characters came to life. They were so insanely colored. I was like, I have to light the film the same way. It really always felt like a live cartoon, which was really exciting. “
