With his eponymous production staff, Williams aims to create content both on-screen and off-camera that inspires conversation through humor and pure honesty.
“One of the first people to tell me to start comedy was my social worker. At that time, he could never have imagined his success. Miss Patty’s Show Or BET and Paramount Global have given me the opportunity to tell more stories,” Williams tells Deadline. “I’m so excited about this new journey and grateful to BET for believing in me. What do you think? Miss Patty’s Show This is crazy, just wait until you see what we came up with! This is just the beginning!”

He continued, “After that episode, I cried because of my black hair. You know, we can’t choose our parents. I thought I was done with a naked mom who made a lot of mistakes. But I had to learn that what he gave to me he gave to me; Hurts People Hurts People. I wanted to show how trauma begins at a young age with this dark-haired story.”

I want to do a comedy at work,” he said. “I also have some projects I’ve been working on before the deal, so I plan to submit them all to BET and put whatever they don’t want in the freezer. You will all get much more. I am very excited about the future and my relationship with BET. I’ve been crazy for 30 years, I know I have a lot for you to love. This is a great opportunity for me to express myself and I am grateful for that. I’m going out on my own.”
