According to Variety, after George Clooney announced that he would play a small role in the French Netflix series “Call My Agent”, it was learned that Eva Longoria was also in talks for the same movie.
Netflix declined to comment on Eva Longoria’s casting but confirmed the involvement of a number of popular French actors, including George Clooney and Laurent Lafitte (The Count of Monte Cristo). As previously reported, the film will also star Laetitia Casta (“Concord”) and Vincent Macken (“Irma Vep”).
Many of the major cast members of Call My Agent found success and their careers took off thanks to their roles on the series. For example, Camille Cottin became one of the most famous French actors, working with international directors such as Michael Mann (Allied), Ridley Scott (The House of Gucci) and Tom McCarthy (Still Water).
Previously, George Clooney confirmed that work on the movie “Ocean’s Fourteen” had begun.
