Nicola Galitzine just gave fans another look at the making of Masters of the Universeand this time he’s training for combat with none other than He-Man’s legendary power sword.
The actor shared a behind-the-scenes video on social media to celebrate his birthday, showing him in the middle of an intense combat test.
While not wearing the full costume, Galitzine can be seen fending off several attackers with the sword which allows Prince Adam to transform into Eternia’s protector.
We don’t have an official teaser trailer for the live-action yet Masters of the Universe movie, but we’ve already gotten a leaked look at Galitzine riding Battle Cat and now this new footage of him channeling the power of He-Man.
He-Man becomes the most powerful man in the universe by holding his sword above his head and proclaiming, “By the power of Grayskull, I HAVE THE POWER!”
The film brought together an interesting cast Camila Mendes as Teela, Jared Leto takes on the role of Skeletor, Idris Elba will appear as Man-At-Arms, Morena Baccarin plays The Witch, while James Purefoy AND Charlotte Riley steps into the roles of King Randor and Queen Marlena. Alison Brie joins as Skeletor’s loyal second-in-command, Evil-Lyn.
The roster also includes Sam C. Wilson (House of the Dragon) as Trap Jaw, Kojo Attah (The beekeeper) like Tri-Klops, Jon Xue Zhang (Eternals) as Ram-Man and Kristin Wiig lending his voice to fan-favorite character Roboto.
This long-awaited project has been through development hell for years. Netflix initially held the rights, but the studio abandoned the project in 2022. Amazon/MGM Studios eventually picked it up with Travis Knight (Hornet) directed.
The story follows “10-year-old Prince Adam who crash-lands on Earth aboard a spaceship and is separated from his magical power sword, his only link to his home on Eternia. After tracking her down nearly two decades later, Prince Adam is brought back across space to defend his homeworld from Skeletor’s evil forces.
“But to defeat such a powerful villain, Prince Adam must first uncover the mysteries of his past and become He-Man: the most powerful man in the Universe!”
Masters of the Universe will finally hit theaters on June 5, 2026.
