Mark Ruffalo He has made his way through the Marvel film universe since he entered the role of Bruce Banner The Avengers In 2012 Spider-Man: New day.
The actor recently sat with Mehdi Hasan, where he spoke of his time in the MCU, the criticisms aimed at superhero films and, of course, if Hulk could break down Superman.
When he was asked to be part of Marvel for so long, Ruffalo explained why he loves the continuity of the franchise.
“Just have continuity. As an actor, you are going from one extreme situation to another. Do these close -knit groups and then break, and rarely have the type of continuity.”
He added:
“I never thought I had real, legitimate and stable job. [Being an Avenger] It’s my stable job. Each film you do is a kind of different universe, especially if you are working with different directors.
“What I like about Marvel is that they really do the director to create another world. Go from the Avengers to Thor: Ragnarok. They are extremely different.”
Of course, the conversation has also touched Marvel criticism and other superhero films often get from legendary filmmakers such as Martin Scorsese AND Francis Ford Coppola. Ruffalo does not let it disturb him a little.
“I don’t know, I play me for me. It’s all cinematographic. He’s fiction. I like to do everything. I don’t give a damn. I will satisfy myself as far as my art is concerned. I’m having fun.”
And while some critics see superhero films like an empty show, Ruffalo stressed that public reactions tell a different story.
“For all the criticisms that we could get from high -level directors, I never sat in one of those films in which I saw people scream literally, cry, beat my chest.
“When I went to see [Avengers: Infinity War] With my son, nobody knew who I was and at the end of the film, they jumped up, they were on their places as “a revolt starts!” “
Later in the interview, Ruffalo faced some Marvel questions on quick fire. He admitted that one day he would have liked to collaborate with Wolverine and said that politically he refers more to the world view of Captain America compared to that of Iron Man.
But real fun came when Hasan asked him about dream matches. Who would win in a struggle between Hulk and Superman? Without hesitation, Ruffalo laughed and said: “The Hulk”.
And when it was the possibilities of Red Hulk against him Captain America: Brave New WorldRuffalo doubled. “Hulk. Nobody beats Hulk. Not even the red hulk. I love Harrison Ford.”
It looks like in Ruffalo’s eyes, the Giada giant is still unbeatable.
