A marine monster wakes up in the teaser trailer for the thriller of the Norwegian monster Kraken

If you have one thing for marine monsters and the Moonful Scandinavian horror, then prepared for the imminent Norwegian creature film Kraken.

The teaser trailer has just fallen and is taking a first glance at a deeply terrifying nightmare. Directed by Pål ØieBetter known for his disaster thriller The tunnel, Kraken Dives headed in the abyss with a mixture of horror and environmental folklore, discovering a myth of mountainous dimensions that is hidden in one of the deepest fjords of Norway.

The story follows the biologist Marino Johanne, played by Sara KhoramiWhich is stationed in a fish farm in the quiet community of Gestsnes. What starts when routine search quickly transforms into a waking nightmare.

In the film: “Johanne is a marine biologist who is doing research in a fish breeding in Getting, a rural community located by the fjord, when he meets different strange events.

“Together with the brutal deaths of two local teenagers, all signs indicate the deep fjord; could there be more in the depths of how much the eye can see? On the bottom of the deepest fjord of Norway he rests a mythical monster as big as a mountain, with a myriad of weapons ready to crush and deviate anything they can grasp.”

This ancient Leviathan is a threat to humans and a brutal strength of nature that starts punishing those who have tampered with the ecosystem.

The film is co-director from photography Sjur Aarthunmaking his debut in his film and presents a script of Natasha Arthur, Vilde EideAND Kjersti Helen Rasmussen. Kraken He opens in Norway on October 24, 2025 and should hit the United States this winter.
