Also with his character he has long since gone from the MCU, Scarlett Johansson I still can’t escape Marvel, even if he is clearly trying.
In a recent chat with Thunderbolts* co-protagonist David Harbor For the interview magazine, Johansson confirmed that he asked the Marvel Studios to remove the credit of his executive producer from the last film.
“I asked to remove my credit because I wasn’t involved.”
Johansson was originally listed as EP on Thunderbolts*probably due to its previous production role Black widow. But he clarified that he had nothing to do with the new film and did not want merit.
Harbour tried to hit the bear, jokingly, “you hated that film”. Johansson replied, “No, you just want it to be so.”
The interview quickly turned into a playful Marvel meeting while the two actors, who played Natasha Romanoff and Alexei Shostakov, spoke of those who are presenting themselves in the next great crossover, Avengers: Doomsday.
Harbour confirmed that he is in the film. Johansson, although he was no longer under contract with Marvel, seemed to know a lot.
“I haven’t lost my magic Marvel touch yet. I’m not even contract for the wonder and I’m still taking your secrets.”
The port shot with a wink:
“Oh, let’s go, Scarlett. We all know that you are the secret character. We all know that the black widow returns from the dead.”
But Johansson closed it with Mcu Logic:
“If I go back to the dead, then half of the world population dies. Have you not seen the game for the love of Christ?”
So, no … don’t soon expect a resurrection of the black widow. As for your next big screen role? Has returned to the success territory in Jurassic World: RebirthHit cinema on July 2nd.
