Prime Video has released the trailer for a new crime series set in Long Beach, California, titled On call. The series follows a pair of police officers on patrol as they respond to calls to help resolve incidents.
On call is “an adrenaline-fueled, visceral crime drama that follows a pair of veteran and rookie officers as they go on patrol in Long Beach, California.
“Filmed with a mix of hand-held cameras, bodycams and dash-cams to create a cinema verite effect, the innovative series explores the morality of protecting and serving a community.
The series is the protagonist Troian Bellisario as tough but protective veteran officer Traci Harmon, who struggles to find her place in the department as it trains the next generation of officers.
Brandon Larracuente plays Alex Diaz, an ambitious rookie who struggles to maintain his optimistic outlook as he realizes the challenges he will face in today’s climate.
The series is also the protagonist Lori Loughlin, Rich Tingwith Erik La Sallewho also directed four episodes.
On call was created by Tim Walsh AND Elliot Wolf. Prime Video will debut the series on January 9, 2025. So if you like crime shows, this is for you!
