Who is the robot in the Fortress of Solitude in the SUPERMAN trailer?

In the recently released trailer of James Gunn’S Supermanthere is a brief glimpse of a scene where Superman is kneeling inside the Fortress of Solitude and holding the hand of a damaged robot. If you look at Superman’s face in this scene, he is pained to see this robot in such a terrible situation.

For those of you wondering who this robot could be, we can say for sure that it is Kelex, introduced in Man of Steel #1 in 1986.
