Adam Scott (Parks and recreation, Separation) AND Danielle Deadwyler (Until, Station eleven) will be the protagonist of the film The saviorsa darkly comedic thriller about a suburban couple whose life spirals out of control when they rent out their garage to mysterious tenants.
The film is currently in production in Los Angeles. Kevin Hamedani he is directing from a script he collaborated on Travis Betzwhich was included in the 2018 Blacklist.
Highway 10’s Matt Smith and Dan Gedman will finance and produce. The saviors marks the first film produced under their new umbrella. Additionally, Adam Scott and Naomi Scott will produce for Great Scott Productions, Nicholas Weinstock and Divya D’Souza will produce for Invention Studios, and Bradley Gallo and Michael Helfant will produce for Amasia Entertainment. Deadwyler, Alyssa Roehrenbeck and Josh Sathre will serve as executive producers.
Scott will next be seen in the second season of Apple TV+ Separationof which he is executive producer. That performance earned Scott nominations for an Emmy Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award, a Golden Globe, a Film Independent Spirit Award and a Critics Choice Award.
Scott will also co-host “The Severance Podcast with Ben Stiller and Adam Scott,” which will accompany the upcoming second season which he will produce through Great Scott Productions. Additionally, Scott will star in and direct his first feature film, Double bookingnext to Sterling K. Brown, Zazie BeetzAND Alessandra Daddario. He will also produce the film through Great Scott Productions.
Deadwyler is currently getting rave reviews and award-winning attention for its work at Netflix The piano lesson. We will next see her in the thriller Continuepremiering on Netflix in December.
