Netflix has released the trailer for its upcoming horror anime film, Mononoke The Movie Chapter 2: Hinezumi (or Fire Rat), which is the second film in the Mononoke trilogy.
This project was originally a spin-off of the 2006 anime series Ayakashi: Horror Tales of the SamuraiAND Mononoke follows the medicine salesman from an episode of the anthology series who embarks on other adventures dealing with the supernatural.
In the story, The Medicine Seller helps victims of nefarious paranormal entities, and the next story deals with a rivalry between women.
One thing I loved about this anime is the unique art style. It’s a visually beautiful anime! The film will also be released in Japanese theaters on March 14, 2025.
