A trailer has been released for the assassin comedy thriller Old boyhero Christoph Waltz AND Cooper Hoffmannas well as Lucia Liu, Ryan McParland, Anna Akinjirin, Jason Done, Tony Hirst, Kate Katzmann, Conor MullenAND Rory Mullen. The film is directed by Simone West (Air conditioning, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, The Mercenaries 2, Stolen), from a screenplay written by Greg Johnson.
The synopsis reads: “New kid. Old guard. A generational clash like no other.” Aging contract killer Danny Dolinski (Christoph Waltz) still believes he’s the best at what he does.
“Stuck in a boring desk job while pining for the love of spunky club manager Anata, Danny is thrilled when the Company brings him back to the field, but only to train Gen Z newcomer Wihlborg (Cooper Hoffman), a prodigy assassin with a bad attitude.
“The two are asked to eliminate a competing union, but to discover their employer’s true motive: to remove the old guard with a total takeover. The Company had not foreseen that Danny’s experience combined with the boy’s brilliance would create such an unlikely bond between the two.
“Along with crucial help from Anata, the duo takes matters into their own hands to defeat the Company and age knows no limits!”
