Max has released the first trailer for Harley Quinn Season 5, and it was also announced that it will premiere on Thursday, January 16. If you’re a fan of this series, you’ll love what the next season brings!
The fifth season of the adult-themed animated series features Harley (Kaley Cuoco) and Ivy (Bell Lake) in a new setting… Metropolis, the home of Superman, Lois Lane and the Daily Planet.
While there, Harley and Ivy discover that there is something sinister at play and not all is as it seems. The fifth season’s tagline is “They’re Gonna Grab Metropolis by the Balls”.
Some of the villains that will be involved in the new season include Lex Luthor and his sister, Lena Luthor, along with fan-favorite villain Brainiac.
Speaking about season five, co-creator Justin Halpern previously teased: “Much of the show in this fifth season takes place in Metropolis. Harley and Ivy decide to spice up their relationship with a change of scenery.
“I can say that we were very interested in the idea that Metropolis was always this beautiful shining city on the hill and Gotham was just, you know, a cesspool and that it almost felt like Gotham was subsidized for Metropolis’ profit. So, we were interested in that ‘idea.”
Harley Quinnthe cast also includes Giacomo Adomiano as Bane, Dierich Bader as Batman/Bruce Wayne, Ron Funches in the role of King Shark, Stephen Fry as Brainiac, Natalie Morales as Lois Lane, J.B. Smoove as Frank the Plant, Alan Tudyk like Clayface and Joker, and Aisha Tyler as Lena Luthor.
