David Spade AND Theo Von (Last weekend) will star in and produce the buddy comedy Waiterswho have also written and who finance themselves.
The film is set in an Arizona border town and the story follows David and Theo, two friends who “think becoming waiters will solve all their problems. They are wrong.
I don’t know who would think that being a water would solve all their problems, but we’ll find out why these two characters think this way when the movie comes out. I wonder if it will be a Dumb and dumber something like that.
David Spade shared in a statement, “We can’t wait to delight everyone with this comedy that no one asked for.”
The film will be directed by Jonah Feingold (Midnight, Meetings and New York, EXmas) and production will begin January 10 in Los Angeles.
