Focus Features has released the trailer for a true-story thriller called Last breath. It tells the story of deep-sea divers who embark on a dangerous rescue mission.
Their teammate finds himself trapped 262 feet underwater after his umbilical cord is caught and cut, leaving him with only an emergency air tank.
The synopsis reads: “Make every breath count. A heart-pounding film that follows expert deep-sea divers as they battle the fury of the elements to rescue their teammate trapped hundreds of meters below the ocean’s surface.
“Based on a true story, Last Breath is a thrilling story about teamwork, resilience and a race against time to do the impossible: save a man trapped underwater with no air.”
Movie stars Woody Harrelson, Simu LiuAND Finn Cole. It looks like a fantastic and extremely intense film that will keep audiences on the edge of their seats.
Last Breath is directed by Alex Parkinson and will be released in theaters on February 28, 2025.
