CW Network has released an extended trailer for the DC series finaleSuperman and Lois. As you’ll see, it promises that the final episode will be an emotional conclusion to this Superman story.
The final episode of the series is titled “It Went By So Fast” and will see “The Kents fight with everything they have as Luthor makes his final move in Smallville.”
When I talk to TV Line, writer and director Jai Jamison we discussed the big cliffhanger of the last episode, when Superman’s emotional farewell to his family was interrupted by a violent Doomsday.
He said: “I wanted it to be an emotional success and to end on an unresolved note. We’re really playing on the stakes of that moment. And it’s a testament to Tyler, Bitsie, Michael and Alex. They all brought It.
“Our characters don’t know what to do anymore. They’re at their breaking point. Superman is doing his best to stand up to Doomsday, but Lex hasn’t played his last card yet. Facing this monster will require everyone coming together to get through it.”
Superman and Lois was developed by Todd Helbing and Greg Berlanti for The CW network. The series finale will debut on December 2.
