After the events of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madnessfans are wondering what the next step will be Elizabeth Olsenof Scarlet Witch in the MCU. I think we all know he’ll return to the MCU one day, we just don’t know when or how that will happen.
There have been rumors that Scarlet Witch will get her own movie, and there is speculation that she will appear in the next Vision series, which could lead to that.
During a recent Q&A panel, Olsen was asked if there are any particular storylines she’d like to bring to life in the MCU. His response certainly teased his return to the role.
Olsen said, “Well, honestly, if I were to tell you exactly what I would want, I think I would maybe spoil something. Kevin Feige honestly asks us what we want to do with the character and then he does it.” [Laughs] so I don’t know if I can share…I just want to come back.”
So, it seems like whatever storyline he would like to explore with the character will move forward. I also assume he will appear in the next Avengers movies.
Wanda’s knowledge of the Multiverse could play into the way Avengers: Judgment Day AND Avengers: Secret Wars end, and there are already reports that his Doctor Doom is having an affair.
Speaking previously about returning to the MCU, Olsen said: “She’s a character that I love to come back to when there’s a way to use her well and I think I’ve been lucky when I’ve started to be used well.
“And they didn’t know what to do with me for a second! If there’s a good way to use it, I’m always happy to come back.”
When asked if her character is still alive, she said: “I think so. I assume so. Yes, and there was a red light of explosive energy. I think I’m dead. I would ask to leave a window open. I had so much fun making these movies that I’d like to figure out how to skillfully be undead.”
“We need to find the smartest writers to figure out how to make sense of all this. I’m open to ideas.”
