Millie Bobby Brown and Rachel Brosnahan team up for Netflix’s supernatural series PRISM

Millie Bobby Brown dives once again into the world of the supernatural, this time with Prisma new Netflix series currently in development.

THE Stranger things AND Enola Holmes star will be the guide and executive producer of the project, which also involves Rachel Brosnahan and the Russo brothers’ production company, AGBO.

In Prism, Brown will play Cassie, a woman gifted, or cursed, with the ability to communicate with apparitions. When a strange global phenomenon begins to cause “visitors” (ghosts) to appear around the world, Cassie must discover the cause before it’s too late.

The series is based on the short story of the same name, originally published as Assemble Original in Assemble Artifacts.

Writer Nick Shafir, who developed the project in-house, will co-produce alongside Assemble Media, with Jack Heller and Caitlin de Lisser-Ellen also producing.

Ethan Frankel (Shameless, Joe vs. Carole) is on board as showrunner. Netflix declined to comment on the project, but sources say it’s shaping up to be a big project for the streamer.

Brown will executive produce under her PCMA banner, alongside Brosnahan and Russell Kahn through Scrap Paper Pictures. Brosnahan recently played Lois Lane in Superman and will return soon for the second season of Apple TV Presumed innocentof which she is also executive producer.

The series also continues AGBO’s strong partnership with Netflix. Anthony Russo, Joe Russo, Angela Russo-Otstot, Scott Nemes and Alessandra Maman all serve as executive producers for AGBO, which is fresh off such notable projects as The Electric State (with Brown), The Gray Man and Citadel.

Prism marks the latest chapter in Brown’s long relationship with Netflix, which began when she became a global star as Eleven in Stranger things. That hit series will conclude later this year with a massive three-part fifth season.

He also directed the Enola Holmes films for Netflix, both huge hits for the streamer. A third film is already in the works, scheduled to premiere in 2026.

Even with her busy schedule, sources confirm that Prism will not interfere with Brown’s commitments to her existing projects.

Prism feels like a supernatural series with the kind of ambition and scope that Netflix thrives on.

There’s no release date yet, but this is definitely a project fans of the genre will want to keep an eye on.
