Disney has released another trailer for Moana 2and gives us the best possible look at the new epic fantasy adventure it will take us on.
The trailer teases the crazy monsters and angry gods that Moana (Auli’i Cravalho), Maui (Dwayne Johnson), and the rest of the crew will face as they embark on their perilous journey.
Moana 2 reunites Moana and Maui three years later for an expansive new journey alongside a crew of unlikely seafarers. After receiving an unexpected call from her explorer ancestors, Moana must journey to the distant seas of Oceania and dangerous, long-lost waters for an adventure unlike anything she’s ever faced.
Additional voice cast includes Rachel’s house (Moana’s grandmother, Tala), Temuera Morrison (Moana’s father, chief Tui) e Nicole Scherzinger (Moana’s mother, Sina).
The film also features the voices of Hualalai Chung, David Fane AND Rosa Matafeo as Moana’s new crew members, Moni, Kele, and Loto, respectively. Awhimai Fraser voices the mysterious new character Matangi; Gerald Ramsey plays Moana’s ancestor, Tautai Vasa; AND Khaleesi Lambert-Tsuda she lends her voice to Moana’s adorable and adorable little sister, Simea.
The film was directed by David Derrick Jr., Jason Hand AND Dana Ledoux Millerand produced by Cristina Chen AND Yvet Merino. Contains music by Abigail Barlow AND Emily Bear, Opetaia Foa’iAND Marco Mancina.
Moana 2 will be released in theaters on November 27, 2024.
