Disney+ has released a fantastic trailer for their upcoming inspirational film, Out of mindbased on the novel by Sharon M. Draper. The film is the protagonist Phoebe Rae Taylor as Melody, a non-verbal teenager with cerebral palsy. Jennifer Aniston it is Melody’s inner voice, which we hear about throughout the film, and which they join Rosemarie DeWitt, Luke Kirby, Giuditta Luce, Michael Chernus, Courtney TaylorAND Emily Mitchell.
The film is directed by Amber Sealey (A plus D, How to cheat, No light and no land anywhere, No man of God) from a screenplay written by Daniel Stieplemann.
The synopsis reads:
“Melody Brooks (played by Phoebe-Rae Taylor), a sixth-grader with cerebral palsy, has a bright spirit and a sharp mind, but because she doesn’t speak and uses a wheelchair, she isn’t given the same opportunities as his classmates. When a young teacher notices her student’s untapped potential and Melody begins to participate in mainstream education, Melody proves that what she has to say is more important than how she says it.”
