Live action Voltron the film has begun the casting process and the newcomer Daniel Quinn-Toye is destined to take on the role of protagonist. He doesn’t specify who exactly he’ll be playing against. The actor is only known for his role as Tom in the BBC Three sitcom Badults.

Rawson Marshall Thurberthe director of Red notice, skyscraper, AND Central intelligencewill direct the film. He created the story and will also write the screenplay with him Ellen Shanman.

Voltron: defender of the universe follows five young pilots in a battalion called the Robot Lions, who are vehicles that come together to form a mega robot known as Voltron.

Together they fight against Emperor Zarkon, the cruel leader of the Galra Empire, who has been searching the universe for the Voltron lions for over 10,000 years.

While I have no idea if Quinn-Toye is a good actor, he must have given a great audition. There’s a curious look to the actor, and judging by the original animated series, he seems like he would fit into the world.
