Disney+ has given fans a sneak peek at each of its new TV series, Dream Productionsfrom the world of Inside and outAND Win or lose. Dream Productions is described as a “Inside and out spin-off centered on the study inside Riley’s dream-producing mind,” and will debut on the streamer on December 11, 2024.
All four episodes of the limited series will be available at once. The series, announced at D23 in August following the success of Inside Out 2was previously set for 2025.
The logline for Dream Productions reads, in part: “Riley is growing up, and when her memories need extra processing, Joy and the rest of the Core Emotions send them to Dream Productions.
“Acclaimed director Paula Persimmon (voice of Paula Pell) faces a nightmare of her own: trying to create the next dream of success after being paired with Xeni (voice of Richard Ayoade), a cocky, daydreaming director who tries to make a step up in the big league of night dreams.”
The series features the voices of Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph, Ally Maki, Kensington High, Liza Lapira, Tony Hale, Lewis Black AND Phyllis Smith. Dream Productions is written and directed by Mike Jones and produced by Jaclyn Simon.
The original series Win or losewhich presents It will be strong voicing a Little League baseball coach, will hit Disney+ on February 19, 2025. Over the course of eight episodes, the series “reveals what it’s really like to play as eight different characters in the week leading up to the big game—the insecure kids, their helicopter parents, even a lovesick umpire—with incredibly funny, deeply emotional and uniquely animated perspectives,” according to Disney. Each episode is said to have a different visual style.
Win or lose is Pixar’s first long-form original series, as the company’s previous television programs were based on its existing films. The series is directed, written, and executive produced by Carrie Hobson and Michael Yates, and produced by David Lally.
“These two series truly showcase Pixar creativity at its finest,” said Pete Docter, Chief Creative Officer, Pixar. “We’re thrilled that fans won’t have to wait long for more amazing content from the world of Inside and out” .”
