Lionsgate has released a new trailer for Dave Bautistathe next action comedy about assassins The Assassin’s Gameand it looks like it’s going to be a fun, fast-paced action movie!
In the film, Bautista plays hitman Joe Flood, and after being diagnosed with a terminal illness, he decides to take matters into his own hands, killing himself.
But, “when the same hitmen he hired also target his ex-girlfriend (Sofia Boutella), must fend off an army of fellow assassins and win back the love of his life before it’s too late.”
Then, to further complicate the story, there’s the fact that his diagnosis was a mistake and he’s not actually dying.
The film is directed by My friend JJ Perry from a screenplay written by Rand Ravich AND James Coyne based on the book by Jay R. BonansingaThe rest of the cast includes Terry’s Crews, by Scott Adkins, Pom KlementieffAND Ben Kingsley.
